When children come into the foster care system they usually wait at the DCS office until placement can be found with a foster family. This wait can last for a few hours, a few days or even longer. We want to take some of the trauma out of a really hard day. Isaiah 117 House will be a cozy, inviting home where the children can come and wait for foster care placement instead of DCS. We will lavishly love on the foster children, the social workers and the foster family when they pick up the children. We want to change the way foster care begins.
